Meet Kat

Kat Longshore, Ph.D.
Mental Performance Coach
My passion is empowering people to be their best selves, by improving their performance on the field and in life.

I have been coaching for over 10 years and have been very lucky to work with amazing athletes, coaches, and teams. Over the course of my career, I've worked with National, Division I, Professional, and Elite athletes, coaches, and teams across a variety of ages, sports, and levels on the mental side of the game.

Central to my work is teaching and training athletes, coaches, and teams in Mindfulness and Meditation. I also specialize in working within team systems to enhance functioning, communication, and performance. In addition, I specialize in providing professional development for coaches to improve performance, emotional management, relationships, sustaining passion, and overall wellbeing.

I earned my Ph.D. in the Psychology of Human Movement from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). Prior to my Ph.D., I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lafayette College (Easton, PA) and my Master of Science in Sport Sciences, Sport psychology Pathway, from Brunel University (West London, UK). In addition to coaching, I'm also an assistant professor of Psychology at Lafayette College, teaching Sport Psychology and Design & Analysis.
